Duties of A Qc Inspector

• Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
• Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
• Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
• Responsible for the inspection of claims orders to ensure they meet product and customer requirements prior to shipping.
• Monitor or observe operations to ensure that they meet production standards.
• Report inspection and test data.
• Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs.
• Suggest innovative simple process to assure the right quality to customer.
• Ensuring vendor quality through observing the incoming materials and auditing, advising the vendor to ensure the right quality.
• Carry out any other task as assigned by the reporting manager.
• Perform any other work assigned by immediate supervisor.

Requirements for Role of A Qc Inspector

• Bachelor of Technology/Engineering, Diploma.
• 5+ years of experience in quality control a similar organization preferably with Middle East experience.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

• Strong knowledge of implementing quality control programs in a project based environment.
• Expert knowledge of recognized QC standards.
• Having knowledge of Steel Fabrication, Painting and installation of Steel Structures.
