Job Description
Purchasing Coordinator at Transmed will be responsible for supporting product quality checks and coordinating orders. Collaborates with the Merchandiser, Customer Service, and warehouse to solve daily operations, manage wastage, and handle local market orders. This is an Intermediate level full time job. And salary can range between 5000-7000 AED/month.
Responsibilities of Purchasing Coordinator
- Manages the purchase on daily basis with the local market suppliers.
- Negotiates prices with local supplier in the Market , quality checks of items
- Preparing LPO and and making orders forecasting the required quantities of local market.
- Collaborate closely with the Merchandiser to address client needs, follow up on orders, and prevent picking errors.
- Coordinates the stocks of the category, by checking the quality , send alert to Category manager.
- Works closely with the supply and demand planning team to communicate ETA’s and lead times of orders and shipments.
- Communication with the Sales Team:
- Communicates the out of stock items to the Sales team in a timely manner in order to ensure smooth operations.
- Communicates with warehouse and customer service on daily basis for daily orders of clients.
Requirements for Role of Purchasing Coordinator
- High School Diploma.
- At least 2 years of experience as a purchasing coordinator – preferably in fresh food.
Skills And Knowledge Desired
Intermediate level in Excel.
