Psychology Teacher – GEMS Founders School, Abu Dhabi

GEMS Founders School in Abu Dhabi is seeking a qualified Psychology Teacher to deliver A-Level Psychology. The ideal candidate will bring the subject to life through engaging lessons, real-world research examples and a passion for understanding human behaviour.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach A-Level Psychology (AS and A2) within the British curriculum
• Prepare students for external psychology examinations
• Plan lessons covering key topics including cognitive, social, biological and developmental psychology
• Use research-based teaching methods and encourage critical analysis of psychological studies
• Support students with university applications for psychology-related courses

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a related discipline
• PGCE, QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Minimum 2 years of experience teaching A-Level Psychology
• Experience with AQA, Edexcel or Cambridge Psychology syllabi
• BPS Graduate Basis for Chartership (GBC) desirable
