Responsibilities Of Projects Manager Applications Development
-
Develop and monitor the work of the operational plan and key performance indicators for all smart transformation activities and projects, in line with the Dubai Smart Government strategic plan.Â

Planning and studying projects and preparing feasibility studies to determine the objectives, outputs and implementation methodology in addition to requirements.

Making recommendations regarding objectives, output and implementation methodology.Â

Implementing the projects fully in terms of preparing the general concept of the idea, the implementation plan, the time plan, the required resources, and coordination with those concerned internally and externally to take the necessary measures.

Continuous review and updating of project objectives to ensure their compatibility with the objectives and strategic plan of the department.
- Preparing weekly and monthly follow-up reports and submitting them to the direct manager, including any risks or deviations facing the project.
- Proposing the necessary treatments to reduce risk.
- Managing all operational aspects of the project and activities related to the project.
- Ensuring that all the operational aspects are according to the specified timetable, within the planned costs and within the framework of the approved specifications.
- Preparing and documenting comprehensive plans for projects, business distribution, communication plan and related documents.
- Preparing and monitoring the department’s annual budget and recommending amendments during implementation in accordance with the department’s needs and projects.
- Monitor and ensure that the concerned parties implement the project according to the specifications and specified time programs.

- Ensure the correction, management of the deficiencies or defects within the scope of contractual terms of Project.
- Effective communication with all partners to ensure that all parties are informed of developments in issues affecting the progress of work in the project.
- Follow up on the processes of providing, distributing and managing resources for the project to ensure that the necessary resources are allocated to the project optimally.
- Preparing annual reports on achievements and obstacles and presenting improvement suggestions.
- Monitoring compliance with the application of IT security standards, policies, and instructions in all digital services, in line with Dubai Government policies and regulations.
- Preparing economic and technical feasibility studies to build and develop effective information systems.
- Evaluating and following up on the implementation of technical projects related to developing, improving and maintaining smart systems and applications.
- Ensuring implementation of projects within the agreed upon framework, duration and cost.
Requirements Of Projects Manager Applications Development
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or its equivalent from an accredited university.
- Preffered:specialized certificate in project management.
- 6-8 years of experience in similar role.
