The role of Projects Manager at ADNOC is to manage as per the agreed project scopes, objectives, budget and outcomes and endorse project planning and management outcomes, under safe and efficient operations. Duties Of Projects Manager
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of offshore projects.
- Undertake responsibility to develop the project plan, form project teams and ensure that offshore project objectives are met.
- Define project scopes, objectives, budget and outcomes and endorse project planning and management outcomes, in line with the departmental policies, procedures and standards.
- Lead the implementation of risk mitigation initiatives and support the formulation of Offshore Logistics project risk policies and mitigation Strategies by coordinating with the risk management department.
- Oversee and provide operational support to all offshore projects requiring approval for utilization of marine units and movements within company-controlled areas
- Ensure that all marine operations are safely conducted in accordance with safety standards and approved procedures.
- Evaluate project feasibility against Offshore Logistics capabilities and resources
- Monitor project costs to ensure alignment with project budgets.
- Evaluate project planning and management outcomes.
- Assess potential issues to control and manage project contingencies.
- Analyse risks across project portfolios in accordance with organizational risk management policies and processes.
- Provide day-to-day support and oversight to Offshore Projects activities.
- Ensure a safe, technically sound and timely construction and installation, in liaison with the support teams.
Requirements For Projects Manager
The eligibility requirements for the role of Projects Manager are as under:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Maritime, Engineering or Logistics discipline or equivalent professional qualification.
- At least 12 years of relevant experience in offshore projects management related to the Offshore Oil & Gas industry.
- At least five years at senior supervisory level.
- In-depth knowledge in relevant Oil & Gas offshore projects, tendering and processes in addition to relevant regulations with sound knowledge in Oil & Gas production operations.
