National Oilwell Varco (NOV) presently has a job opening for eligible candidate for the position of a Project Manager-(Wired Drill Pipe projects) in Dubai. NOV is one of the world’s largest suppliers of products and solutions to the oil and gas industry.

Job Duties of Project Manager

• Single point of contact towards clients and projects, responsible for all deliverables, both technically on day-to-day basis and commercially, including contract negotiations and follow up.
• The PM might be required to sit in client’s offices on a daily basis.
• Manage offshore operations including personnel and equipment
• Coordinate with support functions onshore.
• Act as bridging link between operations, sales and support functions onshore.
• Assist sales and business development with new and existing opportunities and presentations of technical papers.
• Inform and advice in strategic decision-making processes.
• Responsible for QHSE at assigned projects.

Job Requirements For Project Manager

The eligibility requirements for the role of Project Manager, are as under.

Qualification

• You should preferably have a degree in Engineering or petroleum-related studies.

Experience 

• 10+ years of work experience in a Drilling and Well environment.
• Relevant offshore-, sales-, project-, and client management experience is required as well as extensive knowledge of Norwegian and/or UK offshore industry.
• Fluent English both verbally and written is a must.
