Project Manager IFZA Dubai

The Project Manager at IFZA will be expected to liaise with key Project Stakeholders to deliver all aspects of IFZA assigned projects. The role entails coordinating design, working with consultants and subcontractors, supervising the progress of work, preparing the project programs including the delivery strategy, and ensuring project quality and milestones are achieved. The Fit Out Project Manager makes sure all aspects of commercial fit out are completed in full, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities of Project Manager

• Determination and defining project scope and objectives.
• Preparation of Bill of quantities and drawings if required.
• Reaching the deadline to deliver the project with minimum snags.
• Coordinating with the Procurement Team, Commercial Team, Designers and Subcontractor in order to manage the Project and Site condition and proper organized Site Execution.
• Developing and managing a detailed project schedule and work plan.
• Providing project updates on a consistent basis to the Management and arranging a weekly meeting with the Team and solving the issues  Coordinating with subcontractors and In house Teams of supervisors to execute the scope of work on Site.
• Utilizing industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.
• Monitoring and adjusting as needed.
• Measuring project performance to identify areas for improvement.
• Daily Site visiting and understanding the Site issues.
• Providing proper techniques and handling the supervisors on Site for any delay in the projects.
• Performing other job-related duties as assigned by Management.

Eligibility Requirements

The eligibility requirements for role of Project Manager are as under:

• BSc in Architectural Science and Technology, Civil Engineering or other relevant subjects, or equivalent industry experience.
• 4-5 years of proven experience as a Project Manager in a fit out project management role including luxury fit out projects or other similar management roles in the UAE, preferably in Dubai.

Skills Desired

• Knowledge in Municipality / DEWA / Civil Defense Regulations and requirements.
• Microsoft Office and working knowledge of Autocad, Sketchup, Blender and 3ds Max.
• Ability to demonstrate building strong working relationships & stakeholder management.
• Excellent Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good oral & written communication skills.
• Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task and to work on multiple systems while handling high volumes of traffic.
