Project Manager Etihad Rail Abu Dhabi

Etihad Rail is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager with a robust background in passenger railway projects or similar service sector work experience. The selected candidate will form part of The Etihad Rail Mobility team, which is a prominent provider of passenger train services, dedicated to delivering safe, efficient and comfortable transportation solutions to passengers. Purpose of A Project Manager

• As an experienced Project Manager, play a pivotal role in shaping & executing projects within the organization.
• Responsibilities span from project planning to stakeholder engagement, resource management and quality assurance.
• Role will be instrumental in ensuring project success & aligning with company’s objectives.

Job Duties of A Project Manager

• Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including defining project scope, goals and deliverables, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• Resource Management: Allocate and manage project resources, including personnel, budgets and timelines to ensure successful project execution.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including cross functional teams and clients to ensure clear communication and project alignment.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks/issues and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain a keen focus on quality throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring all deliverables meet or exceed established standards.
• Progress Monitoring: Regularly monitor project progress, track milestones and report on project status to senior management and stakeholders.
• Budget Control: Manage project budgets effectively, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines and identifying cost saving opportunities.
• Change Management: Adapt to changes in project scope, schedule and resources while maintaining a flexible and proactive approach.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, reports and records.
• Team Leadership: Lead and inspire project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in railway engineering, hospitality management or a related field.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a project manager preferably within the railway industry or hospitality sector.
