Project Engineer Fire & Gas Systems Johnson Controls Abu Dhabi

Johnson Controls is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join their team in Bin Brook Building 7th Floor, Building No 720, Hamdan Bin Mohammed St, Al Danah, E10, Abu Dhabi, UAE. Candidate will report directly to the Project Manager of Fire and Gas Systems, overseeing projects within the Oil & Gas sector in the Middle East region. Candidates’ main responsibilities will include project coordination, monitoring and ensuring compliance with NFPA codes, QA/QC policies and specifications. Job holder will also be responsible for interpreting client needs and representing them in the field. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 15000-27000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Project Engineer

• Prepare schedules, coordinate, and monitor engineering projects for Fire and Gas detection and Protection Systems.
• Review projects for compliance with NFPA codes, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications.
• Interact with clients on a daily basis to understand their needs and requirements.
• Represent clients in the field and ensure their expectations are met.

Requirements for Role of Project Engineer

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field.
• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in project execution of Fire and Gas systems in the Oil & Gas sector within GCC countries.
• Experience in material ordering and vendor management.
• Previous work experience in the UAE/Oman/Kuwait/Qatar within the Oil & Gas sector.
• Valid driving license with the ability to travel.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

• Strong technical knowledge of Fire and Gas systems.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
• Knowledge of project cost management, revenue generation, and invoicing.
• Solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
• Proven track record in cost estimation, recommending cost-effective solutions, and producing high-quality professional documents.
• Fluency in English is essential.
