Job Purpose of A Project Engineer At EDGE Group

The purpose of this job is to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of  projects while ensuring they meet objectives within budget and schedule.

Job Duties of A Project Engineer At EDGE Group

• Works in close collaboration with internal team members and external suppliers to develop concepts and products.
• Supports in developing presentations for new ideas and innovative designs and conduct as required.
• Maintains records and reports to the Configuration Engineer & other departments for updates, review and feedback for all outputs and delivery time schedules.
• Works towards ensuring that the document release is according to international standards as established by organization.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor degree in Electrical / Electronics / Computer / Information Technology Engineering.
• 3 plus years of experience in similar role.
• Hands on experience with at least one programming language i.e. C/C++/Java.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

• Basic understanding of operating systems, computer applications, databases etc.
• Basic knowledge of programming language i.e. Java, JSP, JS, HTML, XML.
• Ability to acquire and enact a variety of new skills and ideas in all aspects of the full spectrum of the Configuration Management function in support of the whole team, not just software development.
• Outgoing personality, must be self assured communicator at all levels.
• Self motivated and conscious of time constrained tasks.
• Solid analytical thought processes and problem solving / troubleshooting skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Confident, logic based decision making.
