Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank UAE is presently hiring suitably qualified & experienced candidate for job role of Program Manager Technology Rationalization. The Program Manager for Technology Rationalization is responsible for leading and overseeing the planning, execution, and management of technology rationalization initiatives within ADIB. This role involves evaluating the current technology landscape, identifying redundancies, optimizing resources and driving strategic initiatives to improve technology efficiency and cost.

Responsibilities of Program Manager

• Technology Assessment: Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the organization’s assets, including hardware, software and infrastructure.
• Program Management: Lead cross functional and cross border teams to execute technology rationalization projects on time and within cost.
• Lead multiple project managers across different domains and applications with single program goal to achieve automation and efficiency
• Organize and facilitate agile activities and ceremonies including daily stand up meetings, sprint reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, and product backlog refinement sessions.
• Ensure that all meetings are positive, productive, stay on topic, and are kept within the timebox.
• Collaborate closely with the product owner to manage the backlog.
• Effectively manage user story estimation and forecasting.
• Champion and facilitate adoption of agile standards, tools, and best practices.
• Coach team on established IT and corporate standards ( security, quality, and architecture) to minimize operational and reputational risk.

• Coach the team to improve collaboration and self-management, promoting healthy interactions both within the team and with external stakeholders.
• Represent the team at broader planning and coordination sessions (e.g., Scrum of Scrums).
• Support the team in using agile planning and development tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Rally).
• Experiment with new practices and frameworks to improve team outcomes.
• Actively participate in learning opportunities such as communities of practice or conferences to improve skills and better support the team.
• Contribute to the advancement and improvement of agile practices within the organization.

Requirements for Role of Program Manager

The requirements for job of Program Manager Technology Rationalization in Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank are as under:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 7 to 10 years experience in Banking IT.
• At least 2+ years of progressively responsible relevant experience in similar role in Banking.
• Business Analysis and Program Management experience is required, certification is a plus.
