Duties of A Product Solutions Owner

• Live and breathe innovation and latest technology trends and identify opportunities to be the first to market with new ideas.
• Assess market competition by comparing internal product solutions to competitors’ products.
• Make recommendations to drive differential customer experience and product development based on best use of technology and data insights, as well as return on investment.
• Collaborate and partner with stakeholders to define the business needs and to prioritise ideas and product requirements into product initiatives on the appropriate product backlogs.
• Ensure that the product roadmaps are aligned with the brand vision and supports the delivery of the brand strategy.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and the communication of the product plan, priorities, roadmap and progress.
• Steer and challenge the technical delivery teams, working together to own and iterate the full product lifecycle across design, analysis, build and delivery ensuring product provides business value at speed.

Requirements of Product Solutions Owner

The requirements of Product Solutions Owner are as under:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years’ experience in product management and/or development role, preferably within the Travel Management/ Travel industry.
• Demonstrable product experience gained across different business models.
• Some experience of working within an agile environment, across multiple initiatives and teams.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

• Expert knowledge of travel / leisure industry standards and travel management platforms, and core business functions and systems preferred.
