Job Purpose of A Product Manager

• Responsible for managing the driving the achievement of Annual operating plan for the specific product and region by support all sales channels in alignment with business strategies while creating value with product offerings.
• As a product manager you will be reporting to Regional Product Director, Chillers and Heat Pumps, EMEA&I.

Job Duties of A Product Manager

• Implementing the analysis for a small product line by garnering feedback from product sales, marketing, and customers to understand market dynamics.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure product specifications meet customer demands.
• Use your in depth and up-to date knowledge on Air Cooled Chillers and heat pump products available in the ME region.
• Manage legacy product / service / offering and at the same time develop innovative products / services or offerings and business models.
• Own the product profitability and drive positive results.
• Support the completion of key projects or programs within the business.
• Responsible to support channel partners by attending customer/consultant meetings for technical presentations and discussions.
• Responsible for creating and driving strategies for Air-Cooled Chillers and Heat pump products to meet MEA business objectives and growth plans.
• Also be accountable to create viable product vision for product enhancements and new product introductions.
• Make competitive analysis andpricing strategy.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required in business, marketing, engineering or equivalent experience, or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 year’s experience in HVAC industry.
• Minimum 2-3 years of product management experience for applied HVAC products.

Knowledge & Skills Desired

• Demonstrated ability to deliver results.
• Demonstrated attention to detail a commitment to quality and be results driven and customer focused.
• Demonstrated ability to write well, edit effectively and present complex issues and projects succinctly, logically, and persuasively.
• Knowledge of the budgeting process, key financial indicators (ie ROI, IRR, NPV) and Ability to follow established guidelines and processes (ie Capital Requests).
• Knowledge about various types of business models (subscription, product or service delivery, distribution, etc.
• Understand strategic and market levers to pull to build successful growth plans.
• Ability to take calculated risks, utilizing facts and data and scenario planning tools.
• Understand the quality versus quantity around strategy development, that a strategy is a process versus an event.
• Knowledge of value pricing and value capture models.
• Strong VOC skill set and ability.
