We are seeking a Fashion Innovation Product Life Cycle Manager to lead the end-to-end product lifecycle across diverse fashion categories, including leather goods and clothing. This role integrates product development, merchandise planning, regulatory compliance, data management, and e-commerce oversight. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, detail-oriented professional with technical expertise in production, supplier management, and process optimization. This position will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional products that align with brand identity, meet quality standards, and exceed customer expectations.

What you’ll be doing as A Product Life Cycle Manager

  • Product Development:
  • Lead the product lifecycle from concept to production, ensuring alignment with the brand’s identity, quality standards, and timelines.
  • Oversee prototyping, sampling, and fitting processes in collaboration with designers and pattern makers, ensuring fit and construction excellence.
  • Coordinate with the Director of Fashion Innovation and design teams to translate creative vision into viable products.
  • Tech Pack Management:
  • Create or support creation of detailed tech packs with specifications on materials, construction, and labeling requirements.
  • Ensure tech packs are up-to-date throughout the development process and resolve any design or production discrepancies.
  • Supplier & Manufacturing Management:
  • Identify, onboard, and maintain relationships with suppliers and manufacturers aligned with quality, cost, and ethical standards.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage production timelines in partnership with the Head of Brand.
  • Monitor production quality and address issues promptly to maintain brand standards and delivery schedules.
  • Merchandise Planning:
  • Develop seasonal merchandise strategies aligned with business goals and market trends.
  • Analyze sales and market data to identify product opportunities and ensure balanced inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximize product performance and market relevance.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Product Registration:
  • Coordinate with suppliers to gather necessary documents for product registration and ensure timely submission to regulatory authorities.
  • Maintain compliance with local and international standards to enable seamless product launches.
  • Master Data Management:
  • Oversee the creation and management of supplier, customer, and product master data in the system.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of item information to support operational efficiency.

E-commerce Management

  • Support the development and management of the brand’s e-commerce platform, ensuring a seamless product integration and exceptional user experience.
  • Collaborate with the e-commerce team to align product availability, inventory, and online presentation with the overall brand strategy.
  • Process Optimization:
  • Continuously refine product development and production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain premium quality.
  • Stay informed of industry advancements and implement best practices to elevate the brand’s competitive edge.
  • Budget & Cost Management:
  • Manage product development budgets in collaboration with the Director of Fashion Innovation, Head of Brand, and Head of Operations.
  • Optimize material sourcing and production workflows to achieve cost efficiency without compromising on quality.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in product development within luxury or high-end fashion brands.
  • Strong knowledge of garment construction, leather goods production, and materials sourcing.
  • Expertise in creating and managing tech packs.
  • Proven track record in managing supplier relationships and negotiating favorable terms.
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage complex workflows and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in design and production tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CAD).
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and quality.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
