Job Description
Aldar Education is currently seeking suitable candidate for position of Procurement Specialist (Temporary) to support their growing family of owned and operated schools in the UAE. This vacancy was announced by the aldar education on January 19, 2024. Candidate desirous for this role should submit their resume to begin with the application process.

Responsibilities of Procurement Specialist
- Sourcing of goods and services as required by the Organization / Schools.
- Evaluate proposals and recommend award.
- Ensure all school procurement requirements are completed within the SLA of the department.
- Processes purchase orders and ensure supplier delivery.
- Maintaining relations with preferred suppliers to ensure procurement of high quality goods/services, expedient delivery, and dependable service at optimum price.
- Analyzing markets to determine supplier’s sources and product availability.
- Compilation and preparation of reports and analyses setting forth progress, adverse trends, and appropriate recommendations or conclusions.
- Ability to develop dashboards would be an added asset.
What Will You Do More
- Ensure compliance of purchasing activities with corporate governance.
- Solving problems related to procurement processes, logistics and tenders.
- Maintaining documentation related to all purchases/tenders.
- (Additional to normal activities).
- Vendor Registration.
- Maintain proper source channel for potential supplier.
- Manage and control all legal documents for the vendor during registration (NDA, Trade License, Profile).
- Pre Qualification grading for all vendors.
Job Requirements of Procurement Specialist
- Minimum graduate level degree or related Procurement specific qualification.
- CIPS Certified would be an added value.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in procurement within the region. Having education procurement experience is preferable.
Skills & Knowledge Desired
- Fluent English communication skills, written and oral.
- Attention to detail with diligent follow up, and able to execute in a timely manner.
- Skilled in multi tasking and handling pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
