Responsibilities of A Procurement Expeditor

• Responsible for the expediting of all project purchase orders.
• Updating system with the expediting status of purchase orders.
• Expediting the engineering team for timely document approvals.
• Managing vendor documents flow with approved SDRL.
• Organizing PIM and conducting weekly expediting meetings with vendors.
• Experience in management of vendor documents through EDMS.
• Notifying Supply Chain Focal Points of any potential Schedule Slippages.
• Setting Expediting follow up dates in the relevant system.
• Performing expediting visits to supplier facilities.
• Liaison with Field Expediting services through the Client’s appointed third-party agency(s), as required.
• Receiving Field Expediting Progress Reports and updating the relevant systems.
• Issuing Expediting Reports as required by the project.
• Conducting quality control inspections and ensuring that procured goods and services meet required standards and specifications.
• Supporting lead engineer in procurement related activities.
• Managing the end-to-end expediting process, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
• Maintaining accurate Expediting records, including purchase orders, invoices, and supplier performance reports.

Requirements for Role of Procurement Expeditor

The eligibility requirements for role of a Procurement Expeditor are as under:

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years expediting experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Previous Middle East experience would be advantageous.
