Responsibilities of Procurement Executive
- Ensure that procurement processes are followed and that contracts are made in a fair, reliable and cost-effective manner.
- Research and evaluate prospective suppliers.
- Develop plans for the purchase of supplies, services and equipment.
- Follow and enforce the hospital’s procurement procedures and policies.
- Review, compare, analyze, and approve products and services.
- Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
- Maintaining good relations with Suppliers and negotiate contracts.
- Prepare budgets, analyse costs, and reports.
- Maintain and update supplier data like qualifications, delivery times, product range and more.
Qualification & Experience of Procurement Executive
- Bachelor’s degree.
- A minimum 5 years of experience in a contracting company in UAE preferably in Dubai.
Knowledge & Skills
- Well conversant with the purchase process and procedures.
- Proficient in purchasing software.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Organizational and Interpersonal skills.
