Manage sourcing and acquisition of products / components to meet group needs while minimizing costs and maintaining quality standards.

Job Duties of Procurement Executive

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for generator components that align with business goals and objectives.
• To handle procurement activities with the usage of the end to end procurement tools ranging from RFQ issuance, collation of commercial and technical evaluations, recommendations, purchase order issuance, expediting of materials and service contracts in line with company policy.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure procurement activities are aligned with business needs and objectives.
• Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards & specifications.
• Preparing plans for purchase of equipment, services and supplies.
• Negotiate contracts/agreements for purchasing of materials whilst maintaining good relations with suppliers.
• Actively participate in supplier performance reviews.
• Clarify discrepancies between material received and orders, if any with suppliers.
• Coordinate with finance department to ensure timely payments to supplier.
