Job Description

Procurement Assistant Manager Home Care (Personal Care Arabia) Unilever will lead Category Procurement for Home Care Arabia and Personal Care MET, partner with procurement markets and portfolios, Marketing, Supply Chain, R&D and Finance teams and be the face of procurement to drive top and bottom-line growth. Candidate will also lead the savings agenda with cross-functional teams and ensure that commercial benefits land in P&L. Partner with procurement and finance teams during the material forecasting process and deliver the understanding to relevant business stakeholders. Partner Supply Chain, Marketing and R&D teams to deliver innovations and renovations OTIF.

Responsibilities of Procurement Assistant Manager

  • Manage Home Care Arabia and Personal Care MET P&L from the procurement side.
  • Support the procurement organization and Supply Chain to meet goals and objectives in support of the overall Unilever strategy.
  • Support and deliver cost and cash targets based on sourcing and business strategies.
  • Lead savings program.
  • Lead Supplier Relationship Management focused on service, quality, logistics and delivery of materials.
  • Support the business in the execution of innovation and cost improvement projects.
  • Accountable for material price forecasting and lead the discussion with Finance for impact signoff.
  • Continuously improve ways of working, e.g., more efficient ways of handling data.
  • Efficient, timely and transparent communication to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead Category Procurement of Home Care Arabia and Personal Care MET.
  • Lead the savings program and deliver savings targets (BAU, Light House and 5S).
  • Partner with procurement and finance teams for material forecasting.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver innovations and renovations OTIF.
  • Collaborate with procurement, SC, R&D and marketing teams to establish plans and create systems to deliver these plans.
  • Ensure the satisfaction of Unilever’s internal customers with the services provided by the procurement organization.

Requirements for Role of Procurement Assistant Manager

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering. MBA degree/Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Procurement/Supply Management/Supply Chain.
  • Experience in large-scale change management projects is a plus.
