Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank is presently hiring suitably qualified and experienced candidate for the job role of Process Automation Architect. The selected candidate will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of application developed for our clients. As a member working in a team environment, you will work with solution architects and developers on interpretation/translation of wireframes and creative designs into functional requirements, and subsequently into technical design.

Responsibilities of Process Automation Architect

  • Serve as a technical lead and mentor. Provide technical support or leadership in the development and continual improvement of service.
  • Lead the technical planning & requirements gathering phases including estimate, develop, test, manage projects, architect and deliver.
  • Customize Decision Center and Enterprise console to adapt the environment to the needs of business users by using extension APIs
  • Implementing Rule Governance using ODM Decision Center and Enterprise console
  • Customize DVS using DVS API
  • Customize Decision Center UI with Custom value editors
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members.
  • Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level.

Operational Support

  • Ensure assigned processes responsibility (BPM) with high level of availability, performance and application security without any business impact or financial loss.
  • Ensure adherence to IT   governance processes and practices, organizational standards and procedures, SLAs.
  • Facilitate communication within the functional units and ensure that relevant technology strategies, policies, standards and practices are applied correctly to various functional areas.
  • Ensure proper and timely issue resolution, monitor contract performance and adequate action to adhere and enhance the service level agreements.
  • Perform risk assessments, monitor risks and ensure that risk management is fully embedded in      management processes, internally and externally, and consistently applied.
  • Ensure that documentation of   the supported systems is maintained and in an appropriate form for those receiving and assessing incidents.
  • Deliver quality artefacts including BPM Designs, BPM Templates, successful Unit testing.
  • Ensure acceptable performance of applications in portfolio.

Communication

  • Attend all the team meetings, one to one meeting to have a high level of communication culture.
  • Timely response to email, tasks assigned and effective follow up with various stakeholders.
  • Prepare tasks status reports and submit to stakeholders on timely basis.

Documentation / Process Ownership Process Automation Architect

  • The incumbent is responsible take ownership, maintain & update documented processes or documentation related to his job function.
  • In the event where processes or documentation are shared, the incumbent shall be responsible to inform the owner of any document about required changes or improvements.

People & Attendance

  • Co operate with the team members in a cohesive and professional manner and proactive good attendance habits and maintain the reporting hierarchy in all matters.
  • The incumbent should adhere to working hours which might require working for extended hours depending on job nature and task assigned.

Information Security

  • Maintain information security related to ADIB, throughout the period of employment.
  • As soon as possible, report any potential or actual risks or incidents affecting the security of information to the helpdesk.
  • Maintain Risk Free/control IT environment at ADIB.

Requirements of Process Automation Architect

  • BSc Comp Science, B.Com,Informatics degree, MBA or advanced degree.
  • 8 – 10 years’ experience in system analysis, design, construction and testing
  • 4 – 7 years banking industry experience
  • 4 – 5 years of BPM experience

Skills and Knowledge Desired

  • Familiar with Agile Metodology
  • Java:Java, J2EE (Servlets, JSP, EJB, Spring, Struts, JSTL, JavaScript, HTML).
