Careem is presently searching for experienced candidates for the role of a Private Label Executive in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining their selection by store and working with on sourcing, pricing and promotion. This is a unique role with the opportunity to create genuine impact for the lives of everyday people in their region.

Responsibilities of A Private Label Executive

• Work with the Category Managers on maintaining the selection strategy in alignment with the overall department & business strategy and requirements..
• Work with the Category Managers to identify the selection which need to be sourced within the private label project across the categories..
• Identify and sourcing key consumer trends in online grocery /Q-commerce business.
• Source & negotiate the required selection with the best prices, quality and minimum MOQ that meets the business objectives, and ensure a competitive commercial terms with the suppliers.
• Collaborate with the merchandising team to ensure the success of the launched campaigns.
• Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure the stock availability and smooth onboarding of the new added items.
• Collaborate with the pricing team in sourcing competitive prices to maintain the category profitability.
• Work closely with the supplier and maintain the relationship with them through business reviews and growth planning.
• Work with the category assistant to ensure the hygiene of the item’s content and maintain the right visibility on the App.

Eligibility Requirements

The eligibility requirements for role of a Private Label Executive are as under:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as business, marketing, or supply chain management.
• At least 2+ years of experience in the grocery private label industry in Buying or Category Management.
• Time spent in tech or a start-up is a plus.
• Experience negotiating with manufacturers, FMCGs or brand owners. Proactively reaching out to brands to build a partnership.
