About the Role

As a Primary Teacher at Yasmina British Academy, you will deliver outstanding teaching and learning in line with the English National Curriculum. Furthermore, you will implement effective strategies to raise standards and ensure outstanding progress for all students while demonstrating leadership skills at various levels. Moreover, this experienced teacher position requires a minimum of 6 years of teaching experience and involves developing policies and practices that reflect the school’s vision and commitment to high standards of achievement. The role commences in August 2026.

Key Responsibilities for Primary Teacher at Yasmina British Academy Abu Dhabi

• Develop and implement policies and practices for the department reflecting the school’s vision and high standards
• Establish, monitor, and evaluate short, medium, and long-term development plans
• Use data effectively to identify underachieving students and create action plans for support
• Ensure appropriate schemes of work are developed for all year groups including SEN, G&T, and EAL provision
• Set expectations for staff in relation to standards of achievement, teaching quality, and behaviour
• Evaluate quality of teaching and learning to identify effective practice and areas for improvement
• Contribute to the school’s CAS Programme and after-school enrichment sessions
• Performance manage team members in accordance with school policy

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related subject with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
• Minimum 6 years of teaching experience in the UK curriculum
• Proven track record of implementing effective strategies to raise standards
• Demonstrated leadership skills and experience at various levels
• Commitment to an extensive enrichment programme
• Passionate and caring educator with collaborative team skills
• A clean enhanced DBS check or police clearance
