About the Role

Yasmina American School is seeking an outstanding Primary Teacher to start in August 2026. This position is based in Abu Dhabi and offers an exciting opportunity to deliver the American curriculum at a high-quality school within the Aldar Education network. Key Responsibilities

As Primary Teacher, you will deliver lessons that inspire students to achieve the best possible outcomes across the elementary programme. Additionally, you will plan, prepare, and present sessions that cater to the needs of the whole ability range within your class. Moreover, your duties include organising classroom provision and learning resources, creating engaging displays, and motivating pupils with enthusiastic teaching. Furthermore, you will assess and record student development using Target Tracker, provide feedback to parents at conferences, and use data to influence planning and intervention. In addition, you will manage classes effectively, develop positive relationships with all members of the school community, and collaborate with colleagues and parents.

Requirements and Qualifications

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related subject with an appropriate teaching qualification. Additionally, a minimum of two to three years of teaching experience in elementary education is required. Furthermore, previous experience working with students for whom English is not their first language is desirable. Moreover, candidates should demonstrate a passion for teaching, commitment to educating the whole child, and a high level of professionalism. A clean enhanced DBS check or police check is also required.
