About the Role

As a Primary Teacher at Mamoura British Academy, you will deliver inspiring lessons that help students achieve the best possible outcomes across the primary curriculum. Furthermore, you will plan engaging sessions catering for the full ability range within your class while embedding the school’s unique Mamoura Learner, Teacher, and Values DNA. Moreover, you will use assessment data through Target Tracker to inform planning and track student progress effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons that inspire students to succeed and achieve the best possible outcomes
• Plan, prepare, and present sessions catering for the needs of the whole ability range
• Organise classroom provision and learning resources to create a positive learning environment
• Observe and assess children in line with school assessment frameworks
• Use assessment data to influence further planning, provision, and intervention
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student achievements and wellbeing
• Embed the Mamoura Academy Teacher and Learner DNA throughout the curriculum
• Run a weekly extra-curricular activity each term and support school events

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related subject with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
• Minimum 1-2 years of teaching experience
• Previous experience working with students for whom English is not their first language
• Passion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole child
• A high level of professionalism and consideration for the wellbeing of children
• Recent and consistent involvement in extra-curricular activities
• A clean enhanced DBS check or police check
