Teacher – Primary

Responsibilities

  • Whip up fun, creative lessons to hit British curriculum targets.
  • Build a classroom that’s warm, engaging, and ready for action.
  • Adjust teaching to match each kid’s learning style.
  • Team up with teachers to swap ideas and plan cracking lessons.
  • Keep tabs on student progress using tools like Target Tracker.
  • Have chats with parents about their kids’ growth and needs.
  • Keep classes in line with clear rules and a positive vibe.
  • Put up bright classroom displays to spark learning.
  • Work with support staff, like therapists, for kids needing extra help.
  • Join school events, trips, or after-hours activities.
  • Run a weekly after-school club or activity each term.
  • Share feedback at parent-teacher meetups.
  • Stay cheery and show kids what good values look like.
  • Pitch in on school projects or curriculum planning groups.

Requirements

Education

A Bachelor’s Degree with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification is non-negotiable. All documents must be attested for UAE work eligibility.

Experience

At least 1–2 years teaching experience, ideally with primary students, is required. Working with non-native English speakers is a plus.
