Primary Judge Dubai Courts Department

Dubai Courts Department is presently hiring for the job role of Primary Judge in Dubai. This is a full time role for UAE Nationals only. The salary ranges from 15000 AED to 30000 AED that is slightly negotiatable during the interview.

Responsibilities of Primary Judge

• Managing and attending the judicial session and issuing the appropriate decisions.
• Deciding on lawsuits & requests, whether by final or preliminary decisions or rulings, with circumstances established by law.
• Listening to the pleading and deliberating on the case to issue a ruling in it if the judge is a member of the Major Criminal Circuit.
• Considering what is assigned to him by the President of the Court, whether it is judicial work, such as assignment, or administrative or state work, such as working as a member of one of the judicial committees formed in accordance with the law, and issuing rulings and decisions therein.
• Applying the mechanism of offering reconciliation to opponents in some lawsuits, recording it in the minutes of the session, attaching it to it, and making it have the force of an executive document.
• Contributing through the strategic development team to preparing plans for the work of the court under the supervision of its competent president, following up on performance and contributing to setting targets based on performance results.
• Supervising the implementation procedures for the executive document by the enforcement judge.
• Resolving all temporary implementation disputes on an urgent basis, as well as issuing rulings, decisions and orders related to them.
• Deciding temporarily on urgent matters for which there is a fear that time will run out, and as a judge for urgent matters.

 Requirements of Primary Judge

• Must be a Muslim, fully qualified.
• Must be a citizen of the United Arab Emirates.
• Not less than (23) years old when applying to join the program.
• Bchelor’s degree in law or Sharia and law with a grade of very good from one of the educational institutions whose certificate has been certified.
• Master’s degree or doctorate in law.
• Medically fit.
• 3+ years of experience in similar role.
• To be a character and good reputation.
• To successfully pass the prescribed tests.
• To pass the scheduled personal interviews.
• Must have completed national service unless he has been legally exempted or excluded from it (for males).
• To go beyond the foundation program at the Dubai Judicial Institute.
