Job Description

PR & Events Intern at Damas Jewellery Dubai will gain hands-on experience in public relations, event planning, and marketing within the luxury jewellery industry. Candidate will have the opportunity to assist in organizing high-profile events, liaise with media outlets, and help with the execution of brand-building activities that increase the visibility and reputation of Damas Jewellery. This is an Internship level Contract (3 months) job. And salary can range between 4000-7000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of PR & Events Intern

  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing PR campaigns and events (e.g., product launches, VIP events, influencer collaborations).
  • Support the Marketing team in drafting press releases, media pitches, and other communication materials.
  • Help manage media lists and maintain strong relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers.
  • Assist with social media content creation and event photography (if applicable).
  • Monitor and track media coverage, creating reports on press mentions and brand visibility.
  • Coordinate logistics for events, including invitations, RSVP management, venue preparation, and guest lists.
  • Help maintain and update the brand’s press kits and media assets.
  • Support day-to-day administrative tasks and contribute to the overall PR and Communications strategy.

Requirements for Role of PR & Events Intern

  • Current student or recent graduate with a passion for PR, communications, or events management.
  • 1 year experience in PR, events, or related fields is a plus (but not required).

Skills And Knowledge Desired

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
  • A keen interest in luxury brands, fashion, and jewellery.
  • Basic knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) and digital tools.
