The Power Supply Technician at Etihad Rail will work at Al Faya Depot and will be responsible for maintaining and refurbishing all the components of energy/power feeding system & associated equipment including small installations. Responsibilities of Power Supply Technician
- Executes testing, maintenance works and minor renewals of all energy & associated equipment efficiently and responds to breakdowns and failures
- Works in an on call and / or shift system.
- Ensures that equipment is maintained and calibrated to data sheets & manufacturer specifications.
- Works in a professional and safe manner to ensure the maximum protection to oneself, co-workers and plant equipment & ensures compliance to all relevant legislation.
- Maintain commitment to safety & enhance it by taking steps to identify and rectify hazards.
- Minimizes maintenance costs through the diligent and effective use of company materials as well as by being innovative.
- Liaises with supervisor on more complicated problems/anomalies and discusses solutions/seeks advice.
- Reviews endusers requirements, co ordinates schedules and work execution programs.
- In the event of equipment failure, providing a maintenance service to carry out quality and efficient repairs.
- Responsible for the support of Company Safety, environment and Quality policies and programs.
- Carry out specific duties & responsibilities related to his job as spelled out in Management system documentation, policies, procedures, local documentation, Management System Manual, Safety Manual and other related documents.
- Undertakes similar and related tasks and duties as directed by Supervisor.
Requirements for Role of Power Supply Technician
- School certificate or equivalent.
- Atleast 2 years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience in writing reports.
Skills & Knowledge Desired
- Knowledge of electrical works.
- Full driving license.
- English as first language or advanced level of written and verbal skill.
- Good planning skills.
- Analytical skills for problem solving.
- Capability to work in a multicultural team.
