KU is seeking a highly motivated Post Doctoral Fellow to provide high quality research support and undertake internationally competitive research aimed at publication thereby contributing to the academic and research mission of the University. The potential candidate is expected to undertake specific research tasks to develop novel physical layer and multiple access solutions to address key challenges in the design and implementation of wireless networks. The candidate expected to be involved in research center activities, meeting arrangement, writing proposals, compiling, organizing, summarizing and/or presenting requested information and conducting and other explorations, investigation and studies relevant to the research project. Consideration will given to those with a strong background in areas such as:

• Wireless transmission and channel characterization.
• Resource optimization for energy efficient systems.
• Physical layer security.
• Multiple access techniques.

Responsibilities of Post Doctoral Fellow

• Adhere to the University’s information security and confidentiality policies and procedures, and report breaches or other security risks accordingly.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the Line Manager.

Job Requirements of Post Doctoral Fellow

• PhD from a reputable university in electrical engineering, computer engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 year experience in similar role.
• Experience writing scientific or review papers.
• High impact first author publications in top 10% journals in the relevant field.

• Excellent knowledge in wireless/digital communications and a strong publication record required.
• Knowledge in physical layer security and/or routing protocols for communication networks.
• Knowledge in artificial intelligence and machine learning applied to communication system algorithm optimization.
