Portfolio Manager Charterhouse Abu Dhabi

Charterhouse is partnering with a large and dynamic investment firm based in Abu Dhabi, who is looking to hire a Portfolio Manager (Treasury) Arabic Speaking to join their Treasury team. Submit your application if you are interested in this role.

Responsibilities

• Managing the overall performance of the corporate equity portfolio.
• Ensure the proper allocation, direction of equity funds towards projects aligned with strategic priorities, achieving overall portfolio performance & developmental goals.
• This role will actively participate strategic insights in the selection, structuring of projects, whilst cultivating and maintaining relationships with clients to facilitate the seamless implementation of portfolio operations, aiming to generate maximum returns from investments.
• In addition, this role will also monitor the profit distribution from projects and involve stakeholders.
• Evaluate investment performance and feasibility by continuously tracking evaluation and company performance.
• The Manager will make decisions to address distressed asset and collaborate with risk management personnel to develop recovery strategies.

Requirements of Portfolio Manager

• Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable University in Finance/ Accounting (or similar).
• 4 years in progressively increasing managerial responsibilities and hold a CFA qualification.
• Strong understanding of Equities and at least 7 years’ experience in a similar Treasury Portfolio Manager role from another Investment firm.

Skills and Abilities Desired

• Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic, both written and verbal is essential for this role.
• Has wealth of expertise in due diligence, project selection, portfolio management and ensuring alignment with strategic priorities along with proven track record in finance and a keen understanding of investment strategies.
