Porsche Product Specialist at Al Nabooda Automobiles in Juma Al Nabooda Building, Khalifa,146 Sheikh Zayed Rd, Dubai, UAE will behave and act as a brand ambassador to create a happy atmosphere, promote client retention, and enhance the Porsche Centre image. To boost customer happiness, provide unexpected and individualized “Wow Moments” during the sales or service process, both inside and outside the PC. Act as the workshop’s customer interface, ensuring that communication is correct and timely. To appropriately bill for all completed work and to offer initial diagnostics of vehicle issues. Increase the service centre’s profitability b u selling additional services and products to customers. This is an Intermediate level full time job. And salary can range between 8000-9000 AED/month.
Responsibilities of Porsche Product Specialist
- Fully focuses in work on customer centricity, e.g. by creating fascinating wow moments & inspiring customer enthusiasm for the brand and the products.
- Be always up to date about products, technologies (e.g. Connect) and trends to provide high level knowledge for customers and colleagues.
- Be informed about the competitor products and technologies to underline the Porsche strength.
- Provide customer or prospect with information about Porsche brand and history.
- Act as a brand ambassador and try to create fans.
- Carry out analyses and find out interests/specific preferences of the customers.
- Promote options on equipment with no sales pressure towards the customer.
- Act as an expert for Connect towards customers and Sales team of the dealership.
- Explanation of innovative services (e-Mobility especially related to charging).
- Be always updated on new trends and technology.
- Involve all senses, explain the concept and let the customer try it out to create wow effects.
- Configure and visualize the customer’s desired new car and offer personalization options.
- In case of initial consultation, hands over customers to the Sales Consultant seamlessly.
- Act as a Product Expert and support Sales / Service Consultants in case any technical questions.
- Act as a first contact for the customer in the ownership phase in case of technical issues.
- Support preparation of events e.g. plan which products and features shall be presented.
- Act as an expert for products and technologies at events.
- Support to the sales consultant in the first handover of the car (e.g. explanation and settings).
- Update customer data after each consultation.
- Take details of vehicle history & faults, provide customer with an estimate of time & cost, on completion of work ensure customer understands all work carried out and deal with any concerns or complaints.
- Check invoices, ensure accuracy & explain customers any additional cost & warranty information.

- Pro-actively communicate with customers if additional work is required, explain safety, cost and time impact.
- Understand customer’s ongoing vehicle requirements and use these to the benefit of the sales and service elements of the business.
- Up-sell additional services & products to customers to increase profitability.
- Plan all jobs effectively to optimize workshop utilization, offer additional services to customers when workshop not working to capacity.
- Open job cards, ( standard and warranty), co-ordinate with Team Leaders from the workshop. ensuring that information is accurate and any special requirements are identified.
- Maintain an accurate database of customer information to aid in product recall & marketing campaigns.
- Observe all guidelines, instructions and conditions laid down by the law, the authorities and the manufacturer with regard to customer advice.
- Practice personal continuous improvement by attending any relevant courses.
- Arrange a meeting with your line manager in accordance with the annual appraisal.
- Attend regular staff meetings, using them as a basis for the communication of any ideas for improvement in processes, cost savings and revenue increases.
Requirements for Role of Porsche Product Specialist
- Diploma, Management Degree from University.
- 2+ years of experience in Quality management with Technical qualification.
- UAE Driving license.
Skills And Knowledge Desired
- Up-to-date knowledge of manufactures guidelines for all service-related jobs.
- Fluent verbal & written English.
- Technological background (e.g. mechanic)
- Excellent knowledge of Classic range of Porsche Vehicles.
- Methodical & Organized.
- Leadership skills.
