Job Description

Looking for a full-time plumber  role in Abu Dhabi? ANdAZ Capital Gate is hiring. This job involves keeping the hotel’s plumbing systems in working shape. As a plumber you’ll fix leaks, replace worn parts, and respond when something goes wrong.  Experience in hotels is ideal, but work in large buildings is also helpful. The role calls for someone who’s steady, knows tools well, and takes pride in neat work. This isn’t a job for someone who cuts corners — reliability and attention to detail really matter.

Responsibilities

  • Check and fix water lines, drains, and fittings.
  • Respond to plumbing issues in guest rooms or back areas.
  • Carry out routine maintenance and planned repairs.
  • Use hand tools and machines safely and properly.
  • Work with the engineering team to spot problems early.
  • Keep a clear log of tasks, parts, and fixes

Requirements and Qualifications

Education

Diploma in building, mechanical, or electrical work is a plus, but not a must.

Experience

2+ years in a hotel, or 4+ years in a large building with central plumbing systems

Skills:

  • Strong with hand tools.
  • Knows basic pipe work and drainage.
  • Good at troubleshooting.
  • Can follow safety steps without reminders.
  • Works well alone or in a small team.
  • Understands time and task limits.

Knowledge

  • Plumbing layouts in big buildings.
  • Basic safety codes.
  • Central plant systems.
  • How to shut down systems without causing messes.
  • Fixing common hotel plumbing issues.
