United Al Saqer Group is recruiting a Planning Manager to join their exceptional team in Abu Dhabi and be responsible to lead the planning, scheduling, and resource management efforts of projects to ensure timely completion. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, monitoring progress, analyzing delays, optimizing resource utilization, and providing reports to stakeholders to enhance project efficiency. This is a senior level full time role. The salary for this role ranges from 15000 AED to 30000 AED, which may be slightly negotiatable during the interview.

Duties of Planning Manager

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including task sequencing, duration estimation, and resource allocation, using industry-standard tools.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Monitor project progress against baseline schedules, identifying and addressing potential delays or issues as needed.
• Analyze causes of delays and disruptions, conduct delay analysis, and communicate findings to relevant parties.
• Facilitate regular project status meetings to discuss schedule updates, resource allocation, and risks.
• Collaborate with the cost control team to manage projects within approved budgets.
• Assess resource requirements and availability, optimizing resource utilization through necessary adjustments.
• Develop and present weekly and monthly reports on project status, progress, and deviations from the baseline schedule.
• Work closely with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment.
• Provide input into the development of risk management strategies and contingency plans.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, new tools, and technologies related to project planning and management.

Eligibility Requirements for Role of Planning Manager

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; Master’s degree is advantageous.
• 5+ years of proven experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably in Joinery.

• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) and other scheduling tools.
