Planning Engineer ADNOC Abu Dhabi

The role of Planning Engineer at ADNOC is to plan and coordinate the activities between sales team, supply chain, toll blenders and store teams for the entire value chain. Duties Of Planning Engineer

• Develop annual, quarterly, and monthly production and demand plan based on the sales forecast and utilizing the resources at optimal level.
• Coordinate between sales team, supply chain, toll blenders and store teams to prepare schedules.
• Identify problems, if any, to ensure uninterrupted supply of products to market as per variations in demand and keep department manager informed.
• Prepares annual materials requirements of Lubricants division.
• Monitor product losses/gains and compiles monthly stock and product movement statements for all storage facilities and products at the depots.
• Ensure sufficient strategic stock level of Lubricants in accordance with minimum stock level as planned.
• Prepare and reviews annual capital, expense and manpower budgets and coordinates for preparation & consolidation of the same for Lubricants Division.
• Periodically monitor divisional expenses and cost to ensure they are in line with the budgetary provisions.
• Highlight any variances along with potential reasons.
• Ensure timely compilation of data & statistics regarding the division’s performance, HSE incidents, projects initiatives, OPEX and CAPEX report etc.

What You Will Do More

• Identify and drive system improvements in areas related to demand planning. Coordinate with IT to automate the forecasting and planning process.
• Monitor and report the quality and progress of work performed by various toll blenders.
• Ensure that work is completed as per company policies for technical, safety, quality and environment.
• Coordinate with all the division regarding the strategic initiatives and regularly update the initiatives status and submit it for review.
• Develop, implement major project tracking process to ensure the delivery of project goals and objectives.
• Provides feedback for project management improvements for internal team projects.
• Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and performance targets to ensure the ultimate delivery of the business and operational goals and targets.
• Monitor the progress towards the delivery of the goals and targets performance.
• Work hand to hand with Performance Management to review scorecard, business process.
