A Physiotherapist (female) at Canadian Specialist Hospital is responsible for making assessments of patients’ physical conditions.F The role holder will be formulating treatment plans to address the conditions and needs of patients. She will also conduct complex mobilization techniques.

Responsibilities of Physiotherapist

• Assisting trauma patients with how to walk again.
• Educating patients, family members, and the community on how to prevent injuries and live a healthy lifestyle.
• Referring patients to doctors and other medical practitioners.
• Planning and organizing physiotherapy and fitness programs.
• Maintaining and assisting in the enforcement of up-to-date clinical and professional knowledge development.
• Remain updated on the latest evidence-based advancements in the field of physiotherapy, and incorporate best practice into daily patients care.
• Continue an active and flexible team-member who accepts, respects and supports others, and can withstand emerging challenges.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives, as appropriate.

Role Requirements

Following is the eligibility criteria for the role of Physiotherapist at Canadian Specialist Hospital:

• Bachelor/Master degree in Physiotherapy from an approved college or university or an equal Physiotherapy School from Europe, including special training in orthopedic or neurological techniques.
• Current license in country of origin with DHA license to practice in Dubai, U.A.E.
• Minimum three 3+ years of experience of practice in European style physiotherapy.
• Enough experience on both administrative and therapeutic sides to be recognized as advanced physiotherapist; approved by the head of department and hospital’s higher officials.

Job Skills

• Good communication and customer service skills as well as a good comprehension of English language.
• Ability to review procedures and implement new models of service delivery to satisfy client and organizational requirements.
• Demonstrated commitment to quality outcomes and ability to consult with staff regarding continuous improvement.
