Physics Teacher – GEMS Founders School, Masdar City, Abu Dhabi

GEMS Founders School in Masdar City, Abu Dhabi is recruiting a skilled Physics Teacher to deliver physics across KS4 and KS5. The ideal candidate is a passionate physicist who can make complex concepts accessible and engaging for students.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Physics at IGCSE and A-Level within the British curriculum
• Plan and deliver practical laboratory sessions safely and effectively
• Prepare students for external physics examinations
• Use data to monitor student progress and implement intervention strategies
• Contribute to STEM initiatives and physics enrichment activities

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Physics or a related discipline
• PGCE, QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Minimum 2 years of physics teaching at secondary level
• Experience with Edexcel, Cambridge or AQA Physics syllabi
• Strong practical laboratory skills
