Physical Security and Technical Systems Officer Etihad Airways

Etihad Airways is presently hiring candidate for the job role of Physical Security and Technical Systems Officer in Abu Dhabi. This role holder will be responsible to implement, manage Security systems technical solutions (CCTV & Access control) to safeguard Etihad assets throughout the network (offices & network). The role holder is also responsible to assist in the development and Implementation of security systems technical standards document.

Responsibilities of Physical Security and Technical Systems Officer

• Management of IACS and CCTV projects, included planning of team resource deployment but not limited to logistics such as equipment and devices deliveries, this includes preparation and submittal of project cost estimate, scope of work as well as delivering the project within budget.
• Liaises with stakeholders to manage and implement policies for data security from internal and external attack. Ensure hardware, software updates & ensure software licensing laws are adhered at all times.
• Manages service level agreements of third parties providing Etihad with Security Systems. Monitor & manage troubleshooting of ACS & CCTV systems. Support end user on site and remotely as and when required.
• Regularly perform security checks and troubleshooting in Etihad AUH and outstation offices security systems to comply with audit requirements and regulatory such as ADMCC, NCEMA, GDPR etc. Conduct regular assessments/review quality control to measure and maintain consistent standard of service delivery.
• Develop, implement, and maintain effective archive system for retrieval and dissemination of security data/information requested by Etihad Departments for CCTV & IACS. Compile daily, weekly, monthly report for management purposes. Attend to disciplinary hearing to provide evidence as and when required.
• Manages all Corporate Security department projects sourcing execution activities through creating SR documents, scope of works, technical evaluations, RFI/RFP, SR and related activities, using good practices.
• Report/ notify Head of Physical Security on any system failures. Managing crisis situations, which may involve complex technical hardware or software problems. keep up to date with the latest technologies. Carry out any other work as may be required from time to time.
• Monitors Corporate Security departmental budget (OPEX, CAPEX), update/maintain budget tracker. Point of contact with PSM, Finance / Accounts Payable to address any related Invoice/Payment issues for all corporate security department.
• Manages and implements security systems servers traffics and tickets including time and attendance, security inhouse servers, databases, and active components.

Eligible Requirements

The eligibility requirement for role of Physical Security and Technical Systems Officer are as under:

• Security Related degree with acquired specialization in management of integrated security systems.
• IT Security System Degree or Diploma. Engineering a bonus.
•  6-8 years of supervisory/ management experience in physical security.
