Duties Of Photographer

  • Conceptualize, produce and deliver high quality, creative and visually engaging photographs and video content that supports ADNOC Distribution and the overall communication objectives.
  • Comprehending project briefs, offering creative input, and presenting estimated timelines and budgets by working closely with the Creative team before filming.
  • Coordinating with various business divisions and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the intended production and desired output.
  • Planning and filming live events, short films, and ad video/still shoots.
  • Ensuring all filming equipment is prepared and functioning correctly.
  • Managing all stages of photography and video production, including project conception, filming / photographing, capturing professional quality audio, editing, distribution and archiving.
  • Coordinating activities related to casting, location scouting, permits, release forms, recce shots and other pre-production necessities for video and photo production.
  • Set up, manage and operate various production equipment including cameras, audio and video recorders, lighting equipment, and microphones for production.
  • Ensuring proper lighting, audio clarity, and equipment selection during filming. Providing suggestions for captions, graphics, special effects, and video supers.
  • Ability to edit and enhance photographs and videos using current industry software such as Adobe creative suite for optimum results for print, web and other mediums in a timely manner.
  • Operates and maintains proper levels and calibration of cameras, audio and video recorders, and other production equipment.
  • Exhibit a robust work ethic, taking initiative, and adopting a proactive stance.
  • Effectively collaborating with individuals of diverse personalities; researching industry trends, proposing innovative content ideas, and conducting interviews.
  • Collaborating with different departments on projects, crafting stories consistent with organizational goals.
  • Collaborating with team members throughout the post-production process, exporting, compressing, and optimizing videos and photographs to various platforms.
  • Build Relationships, establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with others, both internally and externally, to achieve the goals of the organization.

Requirements For Photographer

The eligibility requirements for the role of Photographer are as under.

  • Bachelor’s degree in film studies, Photography, Mass Communication, or related field.
  • 8 years of demonstrated work experience filming, directing and editing video with a strong portfolio of work and/or video show reel.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

  • Proficient in using professional photography, video, audio and lighting equipment.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Light room, Adobe Creative Suite and other related software.
  • Knowledge of color grading and sound mixing is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Arabic communication skills are a plus.
  • Ability to work in a creative, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with innate attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently on projects and collaborate as a strong team member.
