Job Description
University of Khorfakkan is presently recruiting suitably qualified and skilled candidate for the role of PhD Holders Public Law (Criminal Law). The job was announced by the university on February 12, 2024. Candidate desirous for the role should submit their application now.
Responsibilities of PhD Holders Public Law
- Teach courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
- Contribute in research activities and initiate research projects that lead to effective publications in highly rated journals, especially those listed in Scopus database.
- Supervise research projects and theses for graduate students (Master/PhD).
- Contribute in improving courses and programs offered by the college (at the graduate and undergraduate levels).
- Participate in academic accreditation processes, especially those related to the requirements of the CAA in the United Arab Emirates.
- Perform all administrative tasks assigned by the program/department, college, and the university.
- Actively participate in community service initiatives at the level of events or provide advisory services.
- Guiding, academic advising, and supervising students.
Job Requirements of PhD Holders Public Law
- Bachelor’s degree in law.
- Master’s degree in public law or criminal law.
- PHD in Criminal Law.
- Demonstrated effective teaching experience in the above mentioned or related fields at undergraduate and graduate level, for at least 3 years.
- Experience in supervising graduation projects, master’s theses, and doctoral theses/dissertations.
- Interest and experience in forming successful partnerships with industry and the community is also expected.
- Preference will given to work experience in an online/e learning environment.
Skills & Knowledge Desired
- Must provide a proven track record of research publications indexed in peer reviewed international scientific journals with a good impact factor and listed in the Scopus database.
- A proven record of service to the university and society.
- Demonstrate the ability to integrate computer technology into the curriculum.
