Purpose of A Pharmacy Clerk
To provide daily administrative and operational support to the Pharmacy to enable effective service delivery to internal and external clients.
Duties of A Pharmacy Clerk
- Provide daily general administrative services to the pharmacy.
- Ensure effective inventory support is provided according to standard company policy.
- Effective collaboration with and support to the insurance teams to ensure the generation of accurate claims.
- Support and provide administrative assistance to the quality assurance, infection control and health and safety teams.
- Ensure compliance with all documentation requirements.
- Perform any other task which may fall within the job role or as assigned by the authority.
Qualification & Experience
- High School certificate.
- At least 2 years’ experience in an administrative position within a pharmacy.
Knowledge and Skills Desired
- Basic medical terminology.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Stock control principles and management.
