Job Description

The PDI Technician at Al Futtaim Group will carry out PDI and accessories fitment as per SOP, should be able to perform minor mechanical and electrical trouble shooting, perform rework & polishing of cars. Ensure Customer cars are kept clean during PDI, rework, accessories fitment & polishing and ensure all equipment are in proper working condition including vehicle lifts.

Duties of PDI Technician

  • Produce quality work with minimum job stoppage.
  • Follow company safety policies and procedures and immediately report any accident to Foreman.
  • Ensure SOP is followed in all sections at all times.
  • Actively participate in 5S and Kaizen initiatives and activities in PDI Centre.
  • Always follow company safety policies and procedures.
  • Ensure to go the extra mile whenever required.
  • Ensure team work and performance enhancement through Kaizen.

Eligibility Requirements

The eligibility requirements for role of a PDI Technician are as under:

  • ITI (Technical school) or Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
  • 2 years of previous proven experience as Technician in Automotive service department of a reputed Franchise.

Skills Desired

  • Customer focussed.
  • Kaizen oriented.
  • Capable of following written instructions and documented procedures.
  • LMV driving license of home country or country of residence or country of previous work.
