Responsibilities of Partnership Manager

  • Drive the unsecured business development and partnership objectives through strategic partnerships across all identified set pillars (Usage/Spend Partnerships, digital acquisition Partnerships, Sales Development Partnerships)
  • Develop and retain the existing partnerships portfolio including cards core value proposition partnership.
  • Engages with the stakeholders including Cards Product and Portfolio teams to drive activation and commercialization of value proposition offering.
  • Develops KRIs and implements dashboard to track performance.
  • Responsible for engagement with strategic partners, completes account management actions.
  • Tracks emerging spend patterns and works proactively towards engaging partnerships options, evaluating opportunities, driving consensus.
  • Responsible for costs, bringing to the management attention cost and value offering trade offs, works towards optimal in lines with the business plans and strategy.
  • Responsible for initiating contract negotiations, contract renewals, business continuity plans as applicable.
  • Ensure delivery of plan through long term and tactical campaigns
  • Co-ordinate closely with cross department functions to ensure partnership promotions/campaigns are rolled out in an effective& timely manner.
  • Maintain up to date understanding of customer needs and competitive trends.

Requirements of Partnership Manager

The requirements of Partnership Manager are as under:

  • University Degree holder in the relevant field.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in partnerships marketing with reputed financial services, Ecommerce, Partnerships and loyalty, Airline and related Consumer service industry with knowledge of UAE market.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

  • Demonstrated result in building market share, product awareness, promotions /campaign launch and profit contribution.
  • Experience of delivering results in a competitive, customer focused market Ability to set and maintain highest standards of controls and ethics.
  • Strong negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong Presentation skills (including Microsoft outlook, Word and Excel).
  • Relationship management, network building skills at senior levels.
  • Project management skills.
  • Team player, assertive and result oriented approach.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic language is an added advantage.
