Responsibilities
Welcome guests arriving at the hotel and assist with valet service
- Park guest vehicles carefully and return them when needed
- Keep the front entrance clear and safe for pedestrians and cars
- Use the guest’s name where possible to personalize the greeting
- Follow hotel safety rules and report anything unusual
- Work with other team members to handle peak check-in/out times
- Help with bags or directions if guests ask
- Keep logs and vehicle tags accurate and organized
- Maintain a professional appearance while on duty
- Let security know if anything seems off in the parking area
- Be ready to lift or move items up to 30 kg if necessary
- Keep the driveway area clean and well-arranged
- Handle any complaints respectfully and report bigger issues to the shift lead
- Make sure hotel procedures are followed at all times
- Support other departments as needed during busy hours
Requirements and Qualifications
Education
No specific education requirement, but high school diploma preferred
Experience
Some experience in a similar role is helpful but not mandatory
Skills:
- Good communication and people skills
- Ability to stay calm in busy situations
- Confidence driving both manual and automatic vehicles
- Strong sense of responsibility and time management
- Professional attitude and neat appearance
Knowledge
- Basic idea of how hotels work
- Understanding of local traffic laws
- Familiarity with valet procedures
- Awareness of health and safety basics
- Ability to follow instructions and hotel policies
