Al Masaood  presently has a job opening for suitably qualified and experienced candidate for position of  a Paralegal  in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible to assists with case planning, development & management, legal research, interviews clients, gathers facts & retrieves information, drafts & analyzes legal documents & collects, complies & utilizes technical information to make recommendations to an attorney.

Responsibilities of Paralegal

  • Assist attorneys in managing and organizing legal documents, including drafting, reviewing and editing contracts, pleadings and other legal correspondence.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on various topics, including case law, statutes and regulations.
  • Maintain and update legal management system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information and documents.
  • Develop and implement efficient workflows and processes to streamline the legal department’s operations.
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents such as contracts, NDA’s, POAs and other legal correspondence.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and other team members to ensure compliance with legal requirements and deadlines.
  • Coordinate and manage the scheduling of meetings, hearings and depositions.
  • Assist with the preparation and organization of trial materials, including exhibits and witness lists.
  • Provide administrative support, such as managing calendars, answering phone calls and responding to emails.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact the organization’s operations and provide recommendations as needed.

Requirements for Role of Paralegal

  • Bachelor’s degree in any related studies.
  • 2-3 years of significant and substantive legal assistant experience as a paralegal in a law firm/company.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

  • Proficient with technology and implementation. Proficient usage of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Efficient oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Must be able to effectively multi-task, manage time-sensitive documents and have exceptional organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to function effectively in a busy, team-oriented environment.
  • Bilingual – Arabic/English.
