Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial nursing assessments for assigned patients. Apply clinical guidelines consistently and facilitate appropriate medical referrals based on assessment findings.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans for each patient. Consider cultural, social, and economic factors that affect care delivery and patient engagement throughout.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately, including vaccines. Follow hospital protocols without exception and monitor patients closely for responses and adverse reactions.
• Promote a safe healthcare environment across all patient interactions. Apply clinical best practices, infection control standards, and organisational policies consistently on every shift.
• Manage clinical equipment and medical supplies efficiently. Monitor medical store inventory levels and report shortages or equipment issues promptly.
• Maintain clear, accurate, and complete clinical documentation at all times. Escalate patient concerns appropriately and facilitate smooth patient transitions across the care continuum.
• Develop and deliver patient and family education from admission through to discharge. Cover safety, care management, medication understanding, and preventive health measures relevant to each patient’s condition.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team across Healthpoint’s specialty centres. Contribute to ward meetings, quality improvement activities, and departmental initiatives as directed.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognised institution.
• Minimum two years of post-qualification nursing experience in a clinical setting.
• Current nursing licence in country of origin, valid at time of application.
• Valid United Arab Emirates Medical Licence — or eligibility to obtain UAE licensure through the relevant authority prior to commencement.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, current at time of appointment.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver holistic, evidence-based nursing care across diverse patient populations and clinical presentations.
• Strong documentation skills with the ability to maintain accurate records and communicate clinical findings clearly to the multidisciplinary team.
• Cultural sensitivity and the interpersonal skills to engage effectively with Abu Dhabi’s diverse patient community across all care interactions.
