An opportunity has arisen for an Outlet General Manager to join team at Italian Restaurant in Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab at Jumeirah 3 Umm Suqeim, Umm Suqeim, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This is an intermediate level full time job. For this job the salary ranges from 6000-12000 AED/month which may be slightly negotiable during interview process.

Responsibilities of Outlet General Manager

• Organize and supervise the day-to-day operations of the F&B Outlet and ensure that all work is carried out in an efficient manner (which is consistent with operating policies and procedures and delivers service excellence).
• Ensures team maintains a consistent cleaning regime. Record stock levels and comply with stock audit requirements.
• Monitor food hygiene standards and take proactive steps to maintain them and maintain an approach of continuous development to sustain the best hygiene standards.
• Monitor the profitability of the outlet. Identify areas and gaps for continuous improvements, provide recommendations and/or solutions to improve them and assist with implementing such corrective measures. Take initiatives to sustain them.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other Colleagues.
• Consistently monitor the quality of food and beverages and service offered to guests and escalating any major problems/ complaints to senior management to ensure high service quality as per Jumeirah group quality standards.

Additional Duties

• Ensure compliance to all relevant Health, Safety and Environment management procedures and controls within a defined area of activity. So that Jumeirah group provides world class and luxurious hospitality services to its guests.
• Implement approved departmental policies, processes, and procedures. Provide instructions and guidance to subordinates where necessary. Monitor Colleague’s adherence to relevant policies and procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner. While delivering a quality service to guests and maintaining standards of excellence.
• Work closely with Outlet General Manager to understand and achieve financial and department targets. Understand the department budget and financial statements and provide inputs where necessary. Assist Outlet General Manager in achieving maximum revenue and profit in line with budgeted and forecasted projections.
• Accomplishes department’s results by assisting Outlet General Manager by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising performance as directed to all direct and indirect reports.

Requirements of Outlet General Manager

• Bachelors degree in the relevant field.
• 1-2 years prior experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel or a high-end beach club, demonstrating a strong understanding of luxury hospitality standards, preferably within a pre-opening setting.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a language fluency preference in Greek.
• Excellent leaderships skills, with a strong working knowledge of personnel management, holding briefings, setting targets and conducting team performance evaluations.
• Ability to oversee and optimize multiple outlets simultaneously, while collaborating with the chefs to innovate. Improve menu offerings and monitor the communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
