Job Description

NAFFCO presently has a job opening for suitably qualified candidate for position of a Optimization Engineer (Fire fighting System) at Jebel Ali Free zone، South Area، Jebel Ali Free Zone Street, Dubai, UAE. This is an Intermediate level full time role. For this position salary ranges from 4000-6500 AED, which may be slightly negotiable during the interview process.

Responsibilities of Optimization Engineer

  • Conduct comprehensive analyses of fire fighting systems to identify inefficiencies and recommend optimization strategies.
  • Collaborate with design teams to ensure fire protection systems meet regulatory standards and performance criteria.
  • Utilize advanced simulation tools to model fire scenarios and evaluate system performance under various conditions.
  • Perform regular maintenance audits and inspections to ensure systems are operating at peak efficiency.
  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies to enhance system reliability and reduce operational costs.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on optimization findings and recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Work closely with project managers to align system optimization goals with overall project objectives.

Requirements for Role of Optimization Engineer

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Fire Protection Engineering is essential.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in fire protection system design and optimization is preferred.
  • Certifications such as Fire Protection Engineer (FPE) or Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) are highly regarded.
  • Experience working with relevant codes and standards, including NFPA and ISO, is crucial for compliance.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment while demonstrating leadership qualities.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a keen attention to detail and safety protocols.
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
