Charterhouse is working in exclusive partnership with an international shipping company which specialises in providing Husbanding, Logistics and Operational support to its maritime clients. Due to significant growth in the region, the client is looking to hire an Operations Coordinator Shipping Organisation who will assist the commercial team with sales tracking, client follow up and general administrative support.

Responsibilities Of Operations Coordinator Shipping Organisation

• Managing the filing system, preparing important contracts, quotations and port visit documentation.
• Communicate requests for quotations with various agents in a timely manner.
• Accompany the operations team to the local port to complete handover and exchange/signature of all the necessary documentation.
• This role will act as a liaison between the business and its partners and will have access to highly sensitive information, therefore it is imperative that the successful candidate is extremely professional and discreet when handling confidential information on behalf of the business.

Requirements Of Operations Coordinator Shipping Organisation

• Bachelors degree in Logistics, supply chain management or any other related field.
• Minimum:3 years experience at a coordinator level, preferably working in the logistics or shipping industry.
