Duties of O&M Technician

• Must be able to work with teams cross functionally as well as individually to deliver the objectives.
• Tender & Contract understanding.
• Participating in the tender process i.e. O&M review.
• Assist the business development team with site surveys, site validation and O&M estimation.
• Identifying suppliers, vendors and sub contractors and participating in their evaluation.
• Participating in internal and external team meetings for successful and long-term relationships with the stakeholders.
• Must be able to manage clients and their representatives.
• Liaising with DEWA, DM, Trakhees, DDA, Client, and any & all authorities and stakeholders.
• Preparing O&M manuals and maintaining logs including method statements and risk analysis statements.
• Working with electrical switchgear, inverters, PV panels, multi-functional meters, O&M tools etc.
• Must be able to read and analyze data from the monitoring portal.
• Analyzing/Evaluating and accepting handover documents for the project team.
• Configuring inverters, monitoring system, data loggers, RS485/serial communication,
• Managing manpower for O&M.
• Budgeting resources, tools, and equipment.
• Forecasting and planning preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Prepare and provide weekly and monthly generation reports.

Requirements of O&M Technician

• Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electrical
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working at the site on Solar PV projects with proven track records.
• Software: PVsyst understanding.
• DEWA Solar Engineer Certificate, DM Engineer Certificate, Society of Engineer registration.

Skills & Abilities Desired

• Professional proficiency in the English language. Arabic is a plus.
• Professional proficiency in MS Office
• Based in Dubai with valid UAE Driving License is must.
