Responsibilities of Office Boy / Girl

  • Perform various clerical tasks, including photocopying documents, filing paperwork, and sorting mail.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the office, including tidying workstations, conference rooms, and common areas.
  • Monitor and replenish office supplies, such as stationery, printer cartridges, and pantry items.
  • Assist with setting up conference rooms for meetings, including arranging chairs, tables, and audiovisual equipment as needed.
  • Run errands outside the office, such as delivering documents to clients, collecting packages from the post office, or purchasing office supplies.
  • Assist with basic administrative tasks, such as data entry, scanning documents, and updating spreadsheets.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including distributing mail and packages to the appropriate recipients.
  • Assist employees and visitors with general inquiries and direct them to the appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Support the administrative team with special projects, events, and other tasks as assigned by management.
  • Uphold company policies and procedures, including confidentiality standards and safety protocols.

Requirements of Office Boy / Girl

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
  • Proven experience of 1-2 years as an Office Boy/Girl, Office Assistant, or similar role preferred but not required.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

  • Basic understanding of office equipment and procedures, including printers, scanners, and telephone systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and visitors.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift and carry moderate loads, stand for extended periods, and perform light cleaning duties.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Flexibility to work a flexible schedule, including evenings or weekends, based on business needs.
